Hey, I'm Krys. I spent years in some of the most visible rooms in media — Radio One, CBS, TMZ, iHeart, Turner Broadcasting, Warner Bros and more.
From the outside looking in I had it all together. From the inside …the money was looking real funny. One might even say — hilarious.
A lot of my own money story continued to show up as I was navigating my work in the entertainment industry. Trying to look good to everyone else and seem like I “got it” while dealing with:
Companies barely paying me.
Generational money trauma.
Watching a parent lose businesses.
Not understanding what a master promissory note was at 17 and dealing with those consequences in adulthood.
Overspending when I did have a lil something.
I could go on and on.
The point is that - many of us developed these belief systems way before we could even touch money and that programming stayed with us in adulthood. For me, it left me sabotaging every new financial level that I reached.
I stepped back from the industry to find the answer. Then lost everything in the process. sigh
However, all things work out because what got rebuilt wasn't just a business.
It was a life-changing methodology. A framework. A new relationship with money built from the inside out.That is innerFund.
